Defenders Motorcycle Club, Inc.
Chapters from Tampa Bay, Charlotte County, Lee County, Naples, and National Board road countless miles to attend the 2007 Fallen Heroes Poker Run. They showed up in numbers, I believe in the area of 75 members attended. The Defenders presented L.iF.E. and Kidz a check for $1,000.00. Needless to say we were overwhelmed by their willingness to ride the distance, but to make a donation in that amount left us speechless! Thank you so much Defenders!! Mike Hampton of Custom Welding & Fabrication Inc. went above and beyond in coming to the aid of L.iF.E. and Kidz in 2007. Upon hearing of the 2007 Fallen Heroes Poker Run, he made an initial cash donation. Feeling that he wanted to do more, he put on a Bike Bash at his business, free of charge to the public, and all donations being donated to L.iF.E. and Kidz. Still feeling that he had not done enough, and wanting to help the charity, he added donations, to that already made, to bring the total up to the $5,000.00 level.
A simple “Thank You” doesn’t begin to cover the generosity of these people
and what they have done for L.iF.E. and Kidz.
